
Every day, many teachers and students struggle with the problem of inadequate resources. Young children in many communities do not have the school supplies and books that they really need to succeed in their early educational efforts. It has been estimated that the average teacher spends over $500.00 of his or her own money buying classroom supplies and books every year. The sad reality is that even the generous efforts of teachers are not sufficient to give every student in a classroom the supplies and books they need.
Wilbooks is proud to be able to assist needy students and overwhelmed teachers by collecting and distributing classroom supplies and new and gently used books. We call this program Books and Basics. Any individual, church group, service organization, or other group that would like to help can do so by dropping off basic school supplies and new or gently used books to:

between 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday. We are located 1.8 miles east of U.S. 202 on PA-3 E/W Chester Pike behind Mike's on the Pike.
Wilbooks will also be assisting adult literacy efforts, so we will accept new and gently used books at any reading level.

- #2 Pencils
- Glue sticks
- Composition notebooks
- Tissues
- Safety Scissors
- Magic markers
- Rulers
- Ziploc bags (all sizes)
- Small bottles of glue
- Erasers
